NIGHTSHIFT TRANSPORT PLANNER £22,000 - £25,000 – Immediate Start Available, Previous Transport Planning experience required Monday to Friday 16.00 – 2400hrs / 23.00 – 07.00hrs Rotating shifts / Flexibility Required We are recruiting for a NIGHTSHIFT TRANSPORT PLANNER to join a busy and fast paced International Freight Traffic & Transport environment, Planning & Routing UK Transport movement, from local collections and deliveries to nationwide trunking. Hours of work Monday to Friday 4PM to Midnight / 11pm – 7.00am rotating shift, (flexibility required) and offering a salary of £22,000 to £25,000 per annum, plus 25 days holiday and excellent pension scheme. The NIGHTSHIFT T RANSPORT PLANNER role will be responsible for handling day to day Transport operations; · Liaising with Drivers, Warehouse personnel and Customers · Arranging collections and deliveries · Routing vehicles & planning trailer loads · Making bookings with 3 rd party Transport providers, · Updating the in-house Transport system, · Pre-advising of deliveries and rescheduling missed deliveries, · Briefing and debriefing drivers etc. · Chasing POD’s and raising/checking Manifests · Completing all Transport Administration and Transport Customer Service. Offering an immediate start We require a NIGHTSHIFT TRANSPORT PLANNER who has gained experience of working within Transport Planning & Transport operations, and possesses excellent communication and customer service skills. The successful candidate will need to pass a DBS criminal record check and have a 5 year checkable work history
