Overview

Due to expansion our client is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join their busy Quality Team initially on a 3 month contract but it is highly likely that this will be extended. In addition to the duties below you will have an FLT Licence so that you can help bring in products to be tested. Your role will involve Hosting Customer Inspections as well as carrying out the regular inspections in line with SOP's. You will be able to read and understand engineering drawings and be able to troubleshoot/liaise with appropriate departments if goods do not meet requirements General Duties Carry out inspection of manufactured products at all stages of manufacture; measure and check materials against engineering drawings and/or specification in accordance with inspection and test plans / standard operating procedure requirements Generate and maintain clear and accurate records of inspection findings at all times Ensure workload is effectively planned and managed Ensure that the status and control of non-conforming products is in accordance with relevant procedures and ensure material is dispositioned in a timely manner Drive the effective resolution of customer complaints and internal NCRs Ensure all customer witness visit requirements are effectively planned and executed to ensure full customer satisfaction. Ensure strict compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures with particular reference to health, safety and quality Participate in generating / developing Standard Operating Procedures in the department Review inspection plans and provide direction regarding determination and selection of inspection and hold points Ensure that housekeeping is maintained to the highest standard Leading change and integrating best practice Fulfilling all duties identified in The Map and driving continuous improvement Carrying out any other reasonable duties that may be requested from time to time If you feel you have the correct skills and experience for this role, please apply directly to this advert.
