ABOUT THE BUSINESS: This international multi-branded marketing & NPD led business is looking to add a National Account Controller into the business due to an internal promotion. The role is as a result of 18% growth this year due to huge NPD releases and massive windfalls from trend-setting products. This is a role in a world-renowned multi-category non-food business. Famous for its amazing brands which are loved across the globe and you will no doubt have grown up using. The business works with all the major UK retailers and has a very complex SKU portfolio which is so fast-moving it makes other categories in the industry look slow. The NPD is huge and the releases on new products provide a step change from the norm with massive activation and PR buzz on every single release. They are also on the acquisition trail and have bought two of the most fantastic business which will allow these guys to focus on enabling a greater digital ecosystem. This is a shrewd move in a market that, more than ever focused on digital capability and content. Immersing yourself in UK strategy and gaining access to the senior leadership team at a much more detailed level than a lot of businesses can offer. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: We need a highly driven National Account Controller to join the fastest growing customer base in the business in 33% growth YOY. You will be responsible for 1 direct report taking the strategic lead from a UK perspective and will have plenty of interaction with the global team on the brand execution strategy. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple categories with the exciting product base they have, being the key interface with the customer and spending lots of time with them as a Tier 1 supplier. This is a great step up for a SNAM as it gives you direct reports to manage on a day to day basis with further opportunity for the growth of this team. This business prides itself on culture and if you fancy doing something a bit different, quirky with huge innovation and constant new fashion trends coming to market, then this is the place for you ABOUT YOU: To be a National Account Controller here you will need: - FMCG experience with a core training background. - Previous experience with big FMCG brands is vital. - To be degree educated 2:1 or equivalent. - Experience of top 6 or major high street retailers (desired not essential). - Robust JBP experience and significant commercial exposure. - To be able to cope with high complexity and constant change due to the trend-led NPD pipeline - To be willing to empower and lead your team as this is a core focus for the business - To have significant internal relationship-building experience as the teams are close-knit and need to be in this constantly changing environment Above all else, we need super bright candidates who want to work in a highly sociable environment and pride themselves on working as a team.
