Overview
Quality Engineer Whitehaven - Cumbria £20K We have an exciting opportunity for a junior Quality Engineer to join a market leading International Engineering and Design Consultancy. As Quality Engineer you will be part of a team that develops and implements optimal, cost-effective processes and methods in accordance with product specifications. The Role As Quality Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the enhancement and implementation of related quality/ business systems ensuring the continuous integrity in order to maintain facility certifications. You will responsible for driving manufacturing process and the methods for cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency. In addition, you will ensure quality training is completed and performed, maintain required project/job quality records. The Candidate As the ideal candidate you will have previous experience and an active interest in Six Sigma & quality engineering tools including Statistical Process Control, Control Charts, Process Capability Studies, Reliability Modelling. You will have previous quality engineering experience working with internal auditing, document control and continuous improvement activities.
