Overview
We are recruiting for an SME leisure business who are looking for a Finance Director to be based in London. This position will pay £85,000-95,000 Bens. It could be either someone who is already a Head of Finance stepping up to the next level, or it could be someone who has had a Finance Director before, ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified. Please only apply if you are from a multi-site business in the following categories, leisure, restaurants, hotels or retail. This business is based near to Victoria and has a small head office. The finance team is only three people, so this person would be expected to really roll their sleeves up and get into the detail of everything. This role will deal with everything from doing the due diligence and modelling required on specific investments to competitor analysis, cost analysis, board and MI reporting, stat accounts, audit and taxation. It’s a great role and we are really looking for someone with extensive commercial acumen, strong FP&A ability with an analytics mindset. This person will be responsible for budgetary control, working with non-finance directors on the commercial strategy and outlook. It will also involve negotiating rents with Landlords, dealing with suppliers through the Finance Manager and making sure the risk register and compliance is up to date. The business is very cost-intensive from a utilities and labour perspective. It will be good if someone has had exposure to this kind of thing before. The business is currently in growth phase and will look to diversify into new markets, this person will do all of the insightful analysis to promote this, moving forwards.
