Overview
NRG are currently recruiting for an Application and Systems Engineer who has experience managing various commercial and bespoke applications, as well as managing all aspects of server operating systems. You will need to have prior experience managing and developing relationships with multiple 3rd party software providers. As an experienced member of this team, you will be tasked with providing both 2nd and 3rd level support to the wider business with a ‘no job too small’ attitude. Responsibilities: Manage a large portfolio of commercial and bespoke applications – Install / support. Manage server operating systems – Patching / upgrades / configuration / documentation. Take ownership of troubleshooting and diagnosis of complex technical issues. Get involved with all IT related projects such as system implementations. Requirements: Proven experience in providing 2nd/3rd level support. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Hands on expereicne working with multiple applications and OS.
