We are proudly representing our international manufacturing client in their search for an Applications\Technical Scientist. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering the complete life cycle of various projects, from the front-end requirements discussion with the customer/sales representative, quote support and ultimately project execution, if the project progresses. Responsibilities: Complete all elements of assigned projects, including scheduling and project management Take a practical approach to the project execution, including hands on testing during product development Generate documented evidence to show how the customer requirements have been met through commissioning and qualification activities Lead the preparation of technical responses in the quote process Determine and document project specifications from the customer requirements and applicable standards Provision of on-site visits or teleconferences in a consultative capacity to support customers to define and cost appropriate system solutions linked to customer requirements Complete all elements of assigned projects, including scheduling and project management Support the installed base of systems to ensure customer needs are met Person Specification: Degree qualified in an Engineering or Science disciplines Experience of managing all aspects of a projects Experience of dealing with customers, their problems and compiling appropriate responses.
