Are you looking for an exciting Finance Business Partner opportunity within the education sector? Do you want to work collaboratively with School Business Managers to help deliver a strong service from finance? This Finance Business Partner position is crucial to this Multi-Academy Trust in order to deliver a strong service from finance to the School Business Managers. Key Responsibilities Work as a lead business partner for multiple School Business Managers (SBM) to deliver concise and accurate financial and operational support Support and provide analysis on budgeting and forecasting cycle for the schools Develop and implement new processes and policies to help improve efficiency across reporting Assist in the production of the long-term budgets across a 3-5 year cycle Challenging SBMs on how to achieve KPI's by coaching them and delivering training Support the schools through training budget holders on using key financial systems and processes to accurately represent financial transactions Supporting budget holders on securing funding bids for additional income The Benefits Over 30 days holiday in addition to bank holidays Local Government Pension Employee Assistance programme (24hr counselling for all staff) Discounted benefits across several organisations Opportunity for flexible working opportunities The Candidate Ideally a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA) Experience working in the education sector, ideally from a School Business Manger background or experience working with SBMs Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with finance and non-finance staff An experienced finance professional, proficient in management accounting and business partnering Proactive and engaging individual Applications for this role are being reviewed daily so please apply now as the client reserves the right to close the role early should they receive strong enough applications before this time.
