An outstanding primary school in London are looking to appoint an experienced primary teacher, with or without leadership experience, to teach either a Year 1 or Year 2 class and take on phase management responsibilities throughout the upper school as a Key Stage 1 Phase Leader. They would be able to offer the successful applicant a choice of year groups dependent on experience and preference. It is important to the Head and the governors that the new Key Stage 1 Phase Leader is an outstanding primary teacher as they will lead a 3 form phase with several NQTs. One of the important responsibilities for the successful Key Stage 1 Phase Leader will be to model lessons to the other 11 primary teachers in the phase. Many are already outstanding practitioners but they will often need new ideas, so any applicant with an ability to create fresh and inspiring lessons will be highly considered. The primary school has been graded outstanding by OFSTED twice and as the school develops they hope that the new Key Stage 1 Phase Leader will continue with this success.
