Overview

An investment bank and asset manager based in London is in need of a Financial & Management Accountant to join their firm on a fixed term contract for 12 months. A 12 month fixed term contract opportunity, with opportunity of going permanent, has become available with a thriving financial services firm based in London. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of a wide range of finance responsibilities. After the 12 month contract there is opportunity of going permanent too. Responsibilities: Preparation of quarterly management and Board reports Monthly and quarterly cost analysis and reporting Monthly accounting and reconciliation of accruals and prepayments Preparation and reporting of budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis to actuals Preparation of the monthly allocation of direct expenses and the allocation of overhead costs Monthly accounting and reconciliation of Fixed Assets, Property and Lease accounting, including onerous lease accounting Assisting with the preparation and collation of the quarterly balance sheet control pack Assisting with the preparation of annual statutory financial statements Assisting with the preparation and collation of various direct and indirect tax information Ad hoc accounting and project work Key Skills: 1-3 years post qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) with strong analytical skills Experienced in management, group and statutory reporting Knowledge of UK (FRS102) and US GAAP PC literate with extensive familiarity of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Experience of multi-currency accounting Experience preparing budgets and forecasts
