Overview
We have a new vacancy for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner at a Healthcare Centre near Bracknell. They are looking for someone to join the team permanently for either part time or full time hours , they can be flexible with start and finish times although you would need to be happy to complete 7-12 hour shifts. They are offering a competitive salary (Band 8) which is negotiable depending on experience. You'll receive NHS pension contributions and indemnity cover as standard. They offer 6 weeks of annual leave and study leave where needed for and CPD and training you wish to undertake. To be successful for the role you will need Primary Care experience, ideally within a GP Surgery. Walk In Centre or Urgent Care Centre. You should be confident seeing a range of ages, for various Minor Illnesses and Ailments, as well as basic Injuries and Acute Conditions. Knowledge of Clinical Governance and Clinical IT systems will be a huge benefit. A V300 Non-Medical Prescribing qualification would hugely enhance your application, however it is not essential so if you are not currently an autonomous prescriber don't let that put you off applying The centre is mostly Nurse/Practitioner lead, so you'll always have colleagues of a similar background to assist and support you. There are always duty doctors available on call as well. The centre achieved a 'Good' CQC rating in 2018.
