Advanced Medical Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Care and Medical Specialties

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join an established team in J North, Medical Receiving Unit at Inverclyde Royal Hospital. We are currently in the process of opening a 4 bed medical assessment room within the ward area which will be staffed during the day for 12 hours Monday to Sunday. This is essential to expediate same day discharges and reduce the number of patients admitted overnight. You will be supported by the on call Consultant, Band 5 Registered Nurse and a Band You will be responsible to the Lead Nurse and be expected to work on your own merit. You should also be innovative and creative within your organisational role. It is essential you are a Registered Adult Nurse with previous medical experience and relevant experience in a NP role and appropriate post registration, degree level qualification. The shift pattern is fully rotational.
