Overview
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced LGV Mechanic to join our existing team. Based at our Honiton site this is a full time, permanent role reporting to the Transport Operations and Compliance Manager. As Workshop Supervisor you will be responsible for a small team, maintaining the serviceability and operational effectiveness of company vehicles and trailers in accordance with company and regulatory procedures and legislation. Future Industrial Services now employs over 300 staff in depots across England and Wales from Plymouth and Honiton in the South West as far north as Berwick-upon-Tweed in the North East. We are a national provider of a wide range of industrial services activities to businesses such as tank cleaning, sewer cleaning, underground reservoir repairs and re-lining, power station cleaning during shutdown periods, hazardous waste removal, treatment and disposal to name but a few with a reputation for excellent service delivery. We are looking for someone who likes a challenge where no two days are the same. The ideal candidate will be hard working. A suitable qualification in LGV mechanics and welding, along with a C&E driving licence is essential. You must have supervisory experience as well as experience of working in an LGV Mechanic or Technician role.
