I am currently recruiting a Sales and Cash Ledger Accountant to work for a well known restaurant chain based in London. Client Details My client is a well known global restaurant chain based in Central London. Due to a recent restructure in their finance team they are looking for a Sales and Cash Ledger Accountant to join their team and oversee the cash allocation and sales ledger function for the group. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a senior role working for a large brand in London. This is a permanent role based close to Tottenham Court Road. Description Sales and Cash Ledger Accountant, London Sales postings for the month (on a weekly basis) Reconciliation of final sales to final Fourth reported numbers (often have data issues that need fixing) Downloading daily information from Comtrex, receiving statements from Amex and Lloyds Reconciliation of physical cash banked and per bank statement to Finalise media cash Reconciliation of Lloyds and Amex and Posting of Amex bank fees Cash in transit postings and reversal of prior month Reconciliation of BACS control account Reconciliation of Deliveroo account Reconciliation of APP and Online control account including postings for month end Posting of all bank entries in the month - 4 methods a) Sales ledger b) Purchase ledger c) Nominal ledger upload d) Manual entries for cashbook accounts Bank reconciliations Petty cash Reconciliation of the commission control account including link to payroll Reconciliation of gift card control account including reconciliation to the month end active gift card report Reconciliation of deposits received and payments on account control accounts. Linked to outstanding deposits on DMN or EPO Overall movement of opening / closing trade debtors for restaurants Other Duties Raising invoices Debt collection of invoices Allocate invoices to Cost Centres Process sales invoices Restaurant queries Bank posting Allocation on the sales ledger Profile Essential Skills Sage Experience Strong Excel skills Multi site experience Job Offer The successful candidate will be paid £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
