Overview
A Senior CAD Mechanical Design Engineer is needed for an established Engineering firm based in Hemel Hempstead. Having extensive CAD experience in precision engineering and design you will be involved in projects that have great variety and are invariably interesting from an engineering perspective. Responsibilities: Create original solid models for a variety of devices and assemblies Prepare manufacturing assembly drawings Prepare manufacturing piece part drawings with precision tolerances to ISO8888 and ISO10110 Prepare Bills of Material Maintain drawings within ISO9001 configuration control system Amend and maintain drawing packs through change request procedures Design tools and fixtures for assembly and testing Support sales, production engineering and test departments through to manufacture Interface externally with prospects and customers on all mechanical aspects of the project Skills required: Must have 3 years’ experience within a CAD Mechanical Design role or similar.
