Overview
Finance Business Partner - International Charity - West Central London A globally recognised international charity are looking for a finance business partner to join the finance team in West Central London. This position will be working with the grants department to ensure the effective and efficient monitoring of the accounting and financial aspect of grant giving and receiving for the charity. As the Finance Business Partner, your key responsibilities will include: Assist the grants department in the grant due diligence process, reviewing financial aspects of potential grantees, ensuring correct systems, policies and procedures are in place to manage and account for grant funds. Liaise with the grants department to assist in issuing grant contracts. Monitor grantee spend against budget and maintain payment forecast fields for all grants. Identify and resolve any financial issues with grantees, pro-actively suggesting new ways of working and solutions to problems where appropriate, including providing any relevant finance training. Oversee the external grant review programme, assisting grantees to prepare for reviews, liaising with the external auditor and following up recommendations to ensure these are implemented. On completion of grants, reconcile budget to actual spend and establish regional norms for types of spend. Act as the first point of contact for the grants department finance issues including budgeting and forecasting processes. Assist the grants department with the preparation of donor reports and applications for new funding.
