Overview
Memcom recruitment is looking for a Special Interest Groups Manager to lead a small team in the provision of specialist membership services to SIGs within a professional body based in Central London. The department is responsible for all aspects of running the SIGs as if they were individual membership bodies, including their administrative, membership, secretariat and event functions. Part of your role will require ensuring all services are delivered to SLAs (Service Level Agreements), that performance and quality standards are maintained, and that the department operates within budget. As a member of the Institute’s SMT, you will contribute to strategic development across the organisation, providing regular contract performance and management reports, audit staff time spent for costing purposes and monitor this against income received. You will also prepare and manage SLAs and monitor existing ones to ensure that the Institute can realistically deliver against agreed timescales and budgets. You will also lead on the preparation of annual membership renewals, run direct debits and ensure databases are accordingly updated. The post holder will be an experienced manager and membership professional with in-depth knowledge of membership recruitment and engagement, good understanding of SLAs, strong CRM systems knowledge - and the ability to work to tight, complex budgets. This is a maternity cover lasting for 12 months
