Technical Software Training Engineer – Ph.D. / Post-Doc Location: Cambridge Salary: £43,000 - £46,000 per annum comprehensive benefits Are you a Ph.D. level Mathematician / Physicist / Computer Scientist who has loved teaching throughout a Ph.D. and is interested in working as a Training Engineer within a well-recognised software provider? This internationally renowned software house is continuing their year-on-year growth, and now have another opening for a Technical Training Engineer to join their team in Cambridge. Requirements for Technical Software Training Engineer – Ph.D. / Post-Doc Ph.D. in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering or similar Strong academics throughout Enjoys presentations and teaching Good at articulating complex subjects to a wide audience Fantastic communication skills with excellent written and spoken English Strong programming knowledge in a scientific programming language such as MATLAB Personal situation will allow travel - ideally ability to drive Responsibilities for Technical Software Training Engineer – Ph.D. / Post-Doc Prepare and deliver product training for a range of software, which is predominantly used by a technical and scientific audience. Training courses can range from 2 delegates to 100 and are conducted both on-site in Cambridge, and at customer bases nationwide While getting up to speed you will start by delivering introductory level courses and eventually progress to the advanced course delivery.
