Building Inspector/Risk Surveyor on a rolling temporary contract job - Home Based Your new company You will be working for a well respected private sector organisation who provide structural warranties and risk management site inspection services throughout the whole build process to their valued customers. This will be a home based post and the site inspections will be in the Essex and East London area. Your new role As a Building Inspector/Surveyor you will work with builders and developers carrying out site inspections in accordance with building regulations. You will also carry out plan checks and risk assessments on the completion of projects as well as report writing and relevant admin. The range of buildings will be from single units to apartment blocks on refurbishments and conversions. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed you will experience within building control or warranty with an excellent knowledge of construction. Site Managers and Clerk of Works may also be considered, providing you have extensive experience of the whole build process from commencement to handover. Ideally you will be MCABE, MCIOB or MRICS but this is not essential. You will need to be within an hour commute of the Essex and East London region.
