Finance Analyst & Business Partner Canary Wharf To £55,000 plus bonus & excellent package Our client is a global leading Financial Technology (FinTech) business that’s going through an exciting period of change. They’re currently seeking to bring some strong fresh talent into their organisation, in a highly commercial and business partnering orientated opportunity working alongside their IT Development team. Main Purpose of Role: The Finance Analyst, D&BT Finance role is within the D&BT and Enablement Finance team supporting the Central Finance organisation within the business. The D&BT team are responsible for delivering and maintaining the internal technology systems including Order to Cash, HR, and Sales. The D&BT Finance team is responsible for partnering with the D&BT to provide financial information and guidance to support the team in meeting its objectives and drive informed business decision-making in line with their strategy. The role supports the whole D&BT group with potential to input into the wider central finance team. The Analyst is expected to take ownership of the management accounting in their areas, which will require the successful candidate to build relationships with the D&BT team, be creative, have the ability to think on their feet and engage with their key stakeholders. Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities: Finance partner for Digital and Business Technology Lead/support the delivery of financial and operational support which drives informed business decision-making Support the investment process, partnering with D&BT, Proposition, Customer Operations and wider Finance teams. Deliver/support financial reporting, planning and forecasting to ensure clear line of sight of the cost to deliver investments Work with OCIO Stakeholders to understand business case variances and forecasts Other ad hoc projects as required Technical/Professional Skills & Competencies: Newly/recently qualified ACA/CIMA from a Big 4/Top 10 firm or blue-chip company grad scheme training; preferably within Technology or Financial Services Influencing and leading a multitude of stakeholders in the business and finance Customer-focused with a commercial mind-set Tenacious and driven by delivering results and driving change Enjoys working in teams Shows ability to work effectively across all functions of the business Excellent analytical and communication skills Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects with competing demands for resources, ability to adapt to change Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, global business environment.
