Overview
We are a busy claims company based in Carshalton, Surrey working for an insurance company specialising in Motor Hire and Reward. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and self-motivated to join our well established and experienced team. Key Responsibilities Assisting in the claims recovery process Collect monies due in accordance with the company procedures in relation to non-fault or split liability cases. Contacting insurance companies regarding overdue payments Collecting monies from Policyholders or Third Party’s directly if Insurer not involved Dealing with solicitors re bad debts and taking further action where necessary, such as commencing litigation Ensuring salvage recoveries are up to date and regularly being received Preparing monthly reports detailing outstanding debt and recoveries made Key Skills Basic understanding of motor insurance claims process Three years’ experience in a credit control/recoveries role essential Proactive and assertive nature Candidates must be able to prioritise and manage their own workload Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills Excellent communication skills - telephone, face-to-face and written Good attention to detail IT literate Competitive salary depending on experience.
