Overview
IntaPeople are currently supporting a well-established Software provider who have a permeant Software Testing position available within their core technology function. Due to continued growth we're looking for an experienced software tester with circa 2-3years industry experience within a manual testing role. The core product has recently undergone considerable changes as they've evolved their technology offering to meet the demands of their clients and end users. On the technical side, the team is exploring further exciting changes in the form of an Internal API on a Microservices Architecture roadmap which will require the production of detailed test scenarios and the ability to manage your time efficiently to meet testing demand. Ideally, you'll have: 2/3 years experience within a relatable/similar role Experience with any of the main steam testing platforms: Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Jenkins etc Testing Web API's Experience/knowledge within an Agile development team/environment Experience of writing and executing test plans working to tight schedules A keen interest to work towards Automation frameworks Day to day you'll be working in a rewarding, open planned environment and help the wider development team to deliver clean/quality code which will have a positive impact to the client's products. The team operates on an Agile development practice focused on achieving rapid delivery and you'll work hard on developing new features to improvement the end users experience. You'll also move towards automation in accordance with the team's and companies testing roadmap and therefore, a background in automation, or a keen appetite to learn and apply its principles, will a distinct advantage within this role.
