Overview
Job Title: Senior Software Tester Salary: Up to 35k Bonus Location: Cardiff Acorn is searching for a dynamic Senior Software Tester to join a large Financial Services company in Cardiff. The role will perform a key function testing both new software solutions & existing systems. As Senior Tester you will work closely with the Test Manager creating test plans, mentoring junior team members and contributing to continuous improvement of the testing process in line with business needs. The company operate with flexible methodology favouring Agile wherever possible and are looking to become fully Agile in the near future. Responsibilities include: Supporting the Test Manager in organising and managing multiple test work streams ensuring the test delivery is of a consistently high quality. Taking a senior role in the testing of new product releases and existing systems at all stages of the software development lifecycle. Contributing to continuous improvement within the testing team. Essential experience: Service level, UI level, unit, integration and non-functional testing. Proven record of successful software testing in complex commercial environments. Exposure to Agile & Waterfall development methodologies. Benefit from: Up to 35k. Non-contractual bonus. Enhanced Pension scheme & private healthcare. Up to 25 days holiday (Bank holidays on top).
