Overview

We are Eat 17, an independent small group of grocery stores with a focus on fine foods and homemade goods of excellent quality. We started as an off license in Walthamstow in 2006 and have steadily grown to include 4 locations around london and essex/herts. Our Hackney store is a beautiful site - an ex-cinema; we have 3000 sq ft of retail space selling quality, local and everyday food and drink as well as partner coffee shop and florist on site oh and a cinema upstairs too. Our central kitchen is also here so its a hive of activity We partner with symbol group Spar who supply us with the basics. So we are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for great food, has experience in the grocery retail sector, is driven and ambitious, detail orientated (retail is detail) and a positive attitude, able to lead a team of around 15.
