Overview
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role supports the business operations in delivering insightful analysis and reporting with excellent exposure to senior management and broad insight into full company P&L and Balance Sheet. The role would suit a CIMA studier with previous experience of multi-site fashion retail, or similar. Responsibilities: Daily Sales Reporting Production of Weekly Trading Report with commentaries Month End - ownership for key account lines within the P&L, in particular CAPEX and IT, ensuring understanding of balances and accuracy of reporting and underlying ledgers (including balance sheet reconciliations) Ownership of Fixed Assets and depreciation postings Ownership of CAPEX reporting, ensuring aligned monthly reporting and full year forecast Supporting ad hoc analysis across the channels: sales / costs / profitability Building relationships and business partnering across the business to enable a mutual understanding of financial impacts and projections, in particular with the IT Director and Sales Director Support the annual Budget and Reforecast process, delivering owned account lines and analysis. Review and redesign of reporting, when appropriate, to ensure value-add outputs Your background: CIMA studier with a natural ability to explain numbers to non-finance people clearly Advanced Excel skills Experience working in the retail sector Microsoft AX Dynamics experience a plus
