Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior care assistant to join a care home based in Southampton. This is a stunning country home set in eighteen acres of beautiful formal gardens, woodland and paddocks. It offers a safe, homely and caring environment whilst providing a high standard of person-centred care for up to forty-six residents of any age, who have a diagnosis of dementia or associated mental health problems. The home are recruiting for senior care assistants to join there experienced and qualified care team on permanent contracts, please see details below: Full Time Hours It will be for days, evenings and weekends Paid an extra £1 for Saturdays £2 for Sundays and evenings Hourly rate: from £9.50 an hour Limited interview slots are available so if you are interested please do not hesitate to contact me when you can. The ideal candidates will have NVQ's within health and social care however, candidates with previous experience within care homes or other care environments will be considered. Part of this role is to ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting Residents, when required, with washing, toileting, dressing, undressing, and all other aspects of daily living.
