Overview
Network Engineer (Juniper Layer 2 Switching BGP CCNP Linux). Would you like to take on a technically challenging and stimulating role at a fast growing digital identification scale-up in a supportive environment where you will be encouraged to learn and continually improve your skillset? As a Network Engineer you will assist with capacity management of network resources, contribute to continuous network improvements and development, carryout network security auditing and tuning, assist with building monitoring and logging systems and day-to-day maintenance and operations of the network. You'll join as they embark on a project to re-architect the Data Centre infrastructure, you will occasionally visit datacentres to rack / cable and gain an understanding of capacity planning for voltage, amps, hot and cold aisles. You'll be supported with continual training and personal development including on Juniper network technology. You'll be based in the City with a sociable, collaborative team environment and casual dress code. Requirements: Experience as a Network Engineer (CCNP level or equivalent), ideally with some Juniper experience although this is not required as you will receive training Experience with Layer 2 switching Understanding of Data Centre networks Good knowledge of BGP, transit, peering and IP address space management Linux OS Collaborative and motivated, keen to learn and share ideas As a Network Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £45k) plus benefits.
