Overview
Are you a passionate and patient focused nurse who is keen to deliver top level HCP and patient training both in a secondary care and home environment? Bionical Solutions are seeking the best nurses out there to support the delivery of a new service and product aiming to enhance experiences throughout the patient experience. This role will empower you to deliver patients with lung cancer into the best pathway possible to encourage better health and in the long-term, recovery. You'll need to be a registered Nurse who is enthusiastic about supporting patient pathways, highlighting treatment guidelines and delivering best practice in all responsibilities. What will you be doing? - Supporting patient identification and best practice implementation within secondary care -Carrying out IV infusions and cannulating in patients homes - Supporting patient wellbeing throughout treatment - Delivering 1:1 and small group meetings with HCP's - Identifying and driving efficiencies in patient programs - Raising awareness of disease, nutrition, exercise, motivation, scheduling and logistics - Providing and explaining materials therapy area materials - Encouraging improved lifestyles in patients - Carer support - Side effect management - Quality assurance What kind of person would be successful in this role? - A registered nurse with a good understanding of the secondary care, NHS environment - Someone who is confident in their delivery of information -Experience of cannulation -Experience of carrying out IV infusions - An understanding of oncology (not necessary a speciality) - An individual who is comfortable working autonomously whilst maintaining a caring and commercial mindset - A team player, keen to share information with other regional nurses and management - Someone who is happy with a good amount of travel, the role will require you to travel across a large territory visiting hospitals and patients within their own homes This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced nurse to work in a clinical and commercial environment, whilst continuing to improve patient outcomes with every interaction they have.
