Overview
Harvey Nash is working in partnership with an organisation in Wakefield to source and secure a Senior IT Project Manager, as they embark on an ambitious Digital & ICT transformation. Our client has procured the latest technology, using it to assist in the delivery of services they deliver across the region. Being an organisation with a social purpose, it's crucial that anyone joining the team is bought in to the shared vision, and ensures that the people of Wakefield are at the heart of everything they do. Over the coming months and years, my client plans to deliver a number of exciting projects under structured methodology, giving staff modern and updated infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering Transformation Projects of considerable size and scale, and will have proven experience delivering ERP implantations and upgrades. Duties include: Ensure project timelines are adhered to Manage outcomes, quality, time and cost Provide leadership to the project team Analyse risks and avoidance activities Manage and report on project issues Monitor performance against the project plan Ensure internal and external project team members are delivering Desirable experience: Previous leadership experience Excellent knowledge of Tier One ERP systems Previous local government or 3rd sector experience What's on offer?
