If so, this role could be for you Reed Accountancy are currently representing a fantastic Company based in Central London who are looking to bring on board a Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, motivated and enthusiastic individual to join a growing, forward thinking organisation with the opportunity to further develop alongside an established Manager. Main responsibilities of role -Management accounts preparation and insightful analyses -Annual financial statements – LLP and limited partnership accounting under IFRS, UK and US GAAP- and audit liaison -Support in meeting international financial compliance requirements -Finance process improvement, implementation, documentation and monitoring -Liaison and oversight of the outsourced accounting provider -Oversight of invoice and expense administration (from source to hand-over to external outsourced accounting services provider) and query resolution -Sales invoice preparation from time-sheet collation and analysis of costs to be recharged Strategy & Planning -Accounting policy review -Create and maintain the financial planning calendar -Ad hoc projects including the transition to new outsourced accounting provider Communication -Across the team and external investors, customers and outsourced service providers -Deliver training on new finance policy and procedures Problem Solving and Innovation -Pro-actively review current ways of working and propose/ implement process improvement opportunities -Complex accounting scenarios Supervisory responsibilities -Oversee and review financial outputs from outsourced accounting service providers -Oversee internal administrative support Person Specification The ideal candidate will be from a similar Background and have experience working within a similar role or seeking to transfer their skills as a progressive step forwards into this post. The successful candidate will possess an excellent eye for detail, a can-do attitude and a willingness to deliver key business objectives in a timely fashion. In order to apply for this role, you will need to ensure that you meet the below criteria: - -At least 3 years solid accounting experience in practice or industry -ACCA/ACA Finalist -Degree -MS Office- Word, PowerPoint, Excel Intermediate/Advanced -Management accounting and group consolidation -Preparation of financial statements -Partnership experience and VAT knowledge useful -Self-starter -Excellent organisational skills -Eye for detail, accurate -Hands-on -Confident communicator -Team player- amicable/ approachable/ flexible
