Overview

Commercial Finance Business Partner It's an exciting period for my client with huge opportunity for transformation and change. Due to this they are now looking for a forward-thinking commercial Finance Business Partner to play an integral part in helping to support and make key financial decisions for the division. Reporting into and working very closely with the Divisional Finance Director, you will be instrumental in ensuring that commercial decisions are made thoroughly through financial information, analysis and reports to ensure the best decision is always made for the division to improve profitability. As well as partnering the Managing Director to make the best-informed decisions, you must have the ability to challenge stakeholders, partner and think broadly to encourage different views and ways of thinking, so the ability to influence and provoke healthy debate at Director level is absolutely critical to the success of the Commercial Finance Business Partner. In this role, you'll be responsible for and not limited to; Provide consistent, timely and appropriate finance business partnering. Communicate in a targeted and effective way; to add value by providing financial expertise. Develop robust relationships with key stakeholders within the designated business teams. Ensure the provision of accurate and timely management information. Co-ordinate and implement the budgeting and financial forecasting processes. Understanding and interpreting monthly financial reports supporting the performance of the division to aid performance. Knowledge Required: Fully qualified accountant with 2/3 years post qualification experience (ACA,ACCA or CIMA) or alternatively qualified by experience. Wide experience of business partnering non-financial teams and influencing key decision makers, as well as driving and making your own sound commercial decisions. Ability to prioritise and partner senior leadership. Robust knowledge of financial reporting and management accounting and the ability to interpret and offer actions for improvement of performance.
