Overview
Senior Developer - PHP, Node.js An award winning digital agency in Oxford is seeking a Senior Developer (PHP stack) to join their client-facing team of 4 Software Engineers (18 members in total). This role will see a Senior Developer take ownership of the technical environment and expand on a knowledge of microservices and cloud architecture. Day-to-day the Senior Developer will engage with a variety of projects, primarily PHP based, dipping into infrastructure and client contact where required. You will head up a talented team of Developers, all independently proficient and driven, delivering high quality applications for a range of high profile clients. Required experience: PHP Node.js API integration Linux / Unix Knowledge of Cloud Computing (GCP / AWS / Azure) Knowledge of DevOps (containerisation, CI/CD pipelines) Knowledge of microservice architecture This role is based on the outskirts of Oxford city centre, with parking available and a short commute from Oxford train station. Flexible working hours are available from starting times of 7:30 - 10:30 am and working from home options are considered - however candidates are expected to be locally based.
