Overview
A Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer position with an established manufacturer in Cheltenham up to £35K. Your new company A long standing manufacturing business in Cheltenham are looking to employ a time-served Maintenance Engineer to join their existing reactive maintenance team. The business has recently won a new contract driving a sharp increase in machine performance required. Your new role As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be reporting to the Site Engineering Manager as part of a 5 person maintenance team working on a 4on, 4off shift pattern. You will be working within a highly reactive environment at present however the site leadership team are moving towards a more proactive maintenance schedule. You will be expected to isolate the PLC's and work on machinery daily. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in your application for the Maintenance Engineer vacancy; you will either have worked for 5 years within a maintenance capacity following an apprenticeship. Otherwise; this employer would be open to look at those with longer time-served experience. Ideally you'll be qualified to the 17th or 18th editions. What you'll get in return The successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will earn a salary of up £35,000 (Dependant upon your experience) which includes you shift premium. Added into the package is also an annual discretionary bonus dependant upon personal and company performance.
