A Grevill House offers nursing, residential and intermediate care to 50 residents in its own gardens within walking distance of Charlton Kings village, on the eastern edge of Cheltenham. It will be important that you know what makes a difference to them and what makes them smile. We need you to be responsible for their emotional and physical wellbeing and play an active part in encouraging their participation in occupational and meaningful activities. As part of the team you will also assist residents with personal care such as washing, dressing, personal hygiene and being part of their meal time experience. Delivering the highest standard of care, promoting independence and dignity while ensuring all records are accurate and up to date, and full training will be given to achieve these standards. The Home: Grevill House is a 50 bed Nursing/Residential home attached to a 15 bed Intermediate care facility, located in within a short walk of Charlton Kings, a suburb of Cheltenham. Grevill House is a well-established care home which have forged strong community links to ensure a transparent approach to living and working within a care home. The home is led by a Home Manager who ensures that all staff are well supported to achieve their own developmental aspirations. Who you are: You will have excellent communication skills and enjoy being part of a dedicated team. Working in a person-centred way showing compassion, empathy and a willingness to undertake all aspects of care and social activities to meet the needs of our residents.
