Job Description
Administration Assistant We're one of the largest not for profit care provider in the UK, specialising in providing high quality, person-centred care for older people, in care homes and extra care housing nationwide. At OSJCT we care about our residents and we care about each other. That means you'll enjoy great career development working for an expanding organisation. Because we're a not for profit trust, we invest every penny we make in the people who live in our homes and the people who work here too. This means better quality care and lovely homes for our residents, along with competitive wages and great training and development for our people. We provide outstanding care, working closely with leading experts on dementia and elderly care. And we're currently modernising our portfolio of care homes - refurbishing our existing homes and moving into new, inspiring, contemporary care homes too. As we expand nationwide, we need more people with the right mix of skills, passion and ambition to help us grow even more. A Grevill House offers nursing, residential and intermediate care to 50 residents in its own gardens within walking distance of Charlton Kings village, on the eastern edge of Cheltenham. 6 Months Fixed Term Contract As an Administration Assistant you will support the Home Manager in a full range of activities to assist in the running of the home. You will often be the first point of contact for enquiries - whether face to face, on the phone or by email; as well as helping visitors to the home - be that family members, deliveries or colleagues from other parts of the business. You will be an integral part of the home and you will get to know everybody including residents, their families, employees, local GP's, district nurses and our volunteers. What experience do you need? You will need to be efficient and organised, as this is a busy role with lots of different people relying on you. You will be motivated by always providing the best customer service you can to a wide range of people and their queries. You will be joining a very committed team, led by a supportive management team. So albeit that someone with experience working with older people in a residential setting would be beneficial, it isnt essential. What will you get in return?
