A Grevill House offers nursing, residential and intermediate care to 50 residents in its own gardens within walking distance of Charlton Kings village, on the eastern edge of Cheltenham. As a charity, we ensure that any revenue goes straight back into our homes meaning our residents and staff are well looked after. Grevill House/Ashley Unit is a 50 bed Nursing/Residential home attached to a 15 bed Intermediate care facility, located in within a short walk of Charlton Kings, a suburb of Cheltenham. Grevill House is a well established care home which have forged strong community links to ensure a transparent approach to living and working within a care home. The Multi-cultural team is led by a Home Manager who ensures that all staff are well supported to achieve their own developmental aspirations. The Ashley Unit provides an invaluable rehabilitation service that enables residents to be reskilled and relocate back to their own homes. This purpose built building provides a supportive environment for residents and the team alike. As a Care Leader, you play an integral part of the care team, you will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting your care team ensuring they are providing high quality of care and service to all residents at all times. You'll play a key part with care delivery in the home, ensuring care plans are regularly reviewed through continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident's care. You will take an active part in engaging with residents to understand their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences. Working within the Care team you will show warmth, compassion and support to our residents and their families; helping to promote independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.
