Overview
We are looking for a proactive, experienced and hard-working Full Time Assistant Gardener to work on a private family estate. The candidate should be friendly, enthusiastic and able to work independently as part of a team, being happy to accept and follow instructions, as well as being able to use your own initiative. The 22-acre estate in the New Forest includes 4 acres of formal gardens set with lawns, informal areas, hedges, kitchen garden, orchard, mixed boarders and greenhouses. The successful candidate will have a Horticultural qualification, a full clean driving licence, experience of garden machinery and willing to undertake the care of a wide range of animals.
