Your new company. Your new job working as a Financial Lines Claims Manager will be working for an established and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers. Due to the growth within the claims team, a permanent position for a Financial Lines Claims Manager has arisen. Your new role Your new job working as a Claims Manager working within an established team means you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of Financial Lines, Professional Lines and GL Claims - you will be expected to deliver excellent customer service to clients in a highly professional manner. This includes the broking of IPR claims from commencement to completion which includes information gathering from clients and assessing their claim(s) requirements; building and maintaining ongoing relationships with clients including scheduling and attending meetings; advising and assisting clients on their presentation of claims to underwriters; advising clients on technical issues; negotiation with third parties and solicitors and establishing, analysing and reporting on claims to management. What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience working as a Senior Claims Professional handling Financial Line risks will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have advanced knowledge of general insurance, its processes and procedures and underlying legal principles. Advanced knowledge of general insurance claims handling. General knowledge and understanding of FCA regulations and guidelines relating to commercial business, as well as general knowledge of UK and International Insurance and Reinsurance business.
