OPERATIONS COORDINATOR- SUPPORTIVE COMPANY Our well-established client based on the outskirts of Wakefield are recruiting for a Operations Coordinator to compliment their successful team. The purpose of this role is to make sure customers receive excellent quality care and support to keep them safe and comfortable in their own homes. A supportive and calm manner together with excellent organisational and communication skills are vital for this role. OPERATIONS COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION Carry out investigations relating to the quality of the service and implement improvement actions. Liaise with the registered manager to make sure that sufficient care assistants with the right skills mix are recruited to meet the needs of the business. Provide advice, induction, training and supervision to the coordinators. Arrange cover for care assistant sickness, absenteeism or holidays. Work with the office team to maintain up to date electronic and handwritten records. Make sure systems are used to record and monitor mileage and travel distances. Talk to customers and their chosen representatives about their care and support. Work with health and social care professionals to deliver high quality homecare services. OPERATIONS COORDINATOR PERSON SPECIFICATION Caring, compassionate and understanding towards people in need of care and support. Excellent organisational skills- proven ability to plan and organise workloads. Experience of maintaining clear and accurate written records. Good administrative and IT skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proven ability to communicate clearly and build positive working relationships. Previous experience of leading or managing staff would be preferred.
