Maintenance Engineer (Packaging/Manufacturing) Wigan £32,000 Overtime Opportunities Holidays Bank Holidays Pension 3 Shift Rotating Pattern, 40 hours per week (06:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 22:00 and 22:00 to 06:00) Maintenance Engineer required within a well established company who offer long term security within a good working environment. The role would suit candidates with an NVQ or a C&G or equivalent in EITHER Electrical or Mechanical engineering. Candidates with previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment will have a considerable advantage. The company offer training and a buddy system to progress the successful candidate. Reporting into the shift manager, the role will involve machine operating, fault finding and reactive maintenance on packaging production machinery. There will also be an element of pre-planned maintenance and continuous improvement. The role is predominantly mechanical with some basic electrical. The Role: Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair of production machinery Primary reactive maintenance of production machinery and machine operating Occasional involvement with continuous improvement activities and PPM schedules. Rotating Shift Pattern (06:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 22:00 and 22:00 to 06:00) The Person: Must have an NVQ/C&G or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
