Overview
Commercial Finance Manager - Central London Consumer Additions are working closely with a global retail and e-com brand based in Central London who are looking for an analyst with a commercial mindset to join their successful team. This role will require a great deal of business partnering as well as regular presenting in front of directors and therefore requires a personable and confident candidate who has relevant experience. Responsibilities: Finance representative and first port of contact for all of the brands finance needs. Responsible for day to day management and development of the Finance team. Analyses weekly trading and stock position of the brand, highlighting any areas of risk/concerns/trends to the relevant parties. Responsible for the production and review of the brand’s month-end pack, providing commercial commentary and analysis of monthly accounts. Plans and manages the brands annual budget and quarterly re-forecast for the entire P&L, working with the retail teams and head office cost centre managers to ensure the forecast submitted are accurate and controlled, challenging where necessary. Plans and manages the long-term strategic planning of the brand. Produces and reviews capital expenditure appraisals with the relevant heads and holds responsibility for ensuring the brands capital budget is controlled. Undertakes ad-hoc analysis and projects at the requirements of the brand, working with the various heads across the business. Requirments: 2-4 years Qualified Experience (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) Minimum 2-3 years commercial experience of Retail or e-com industries Experience within a highly commercial business environment Numerate with strong analytical and communication skills Highly motivated, self-starter full of initiative Team player Ability to transcend pier group barriers / dealing with various levels throughout the business and across territories Advance Excel skills
