Maintenance Supervisor - Leeds Do you want to work for a progressive and innovative manufacturing company in a great location? Do you feel you are ready to take the next step in your career? Our client is looking for maintenance professionals to join their site and provide effective supervision of their maintenance team, to ensure work is carried out to the highest levels and with the best interest of their staff, customers and the business. We are looking for people to be proactive in the following areas: Supervision of Maintenance Operatives Responsible for maintenance activities on site through effective planned/preventive maintenance routines and timely response to unplanned breakdowns Support overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) by proactively working to improve plant reliability and availability Manage the computerised preventive maintenance system Manage and control the procurement and inventory of maintenance spares, parts and equipment Manage and control the procurement of specialist maintenance services Ensure that all statutory fixed-interval maintenance and inspection requirements are carried out We are looking to speak with candidates that have the following experience: Electrical Engineer qualified to HND level Ideally with supervisory experience gained within a similar production environment High level of safety awareness and a good understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act and other attendant regulations Understanding and experience of PLC's and pneumatics is highly desirable Good communication skills - both written and verbal Good problem-solving skills, able to diagnose and correct faults If you want to discuss this position in more detail, please call Stephanie Nurse at Elevation Recruitment Group.
