Overview
Business Partnering Business partnering acumen to develop strong relationships with business owners. Ability/confidence to provide appropriate degree of challenge to client services and operations teams to ensure sound decision-making from a financial perspective. Utilizing systems, commercial and financial acumen to identify areas of improvement within the business. Financial Modelling / commercial analysis to support various activities and assist in decision making within the division - new business opportunities, contract renewals and initiatives to optimise operational delivery of work Support of colleagues within Finance team to assist completion of various reporting / analysis activities Management Reporting Responsible for the budgeting and forecasting process for client accounts Responsible to prepare monthly and ad hoc reporting and the provision of variance analysis and insightful commentary and analysis Identification of process improvements to support the management team and improve the delivery of information across the business. Identify opportunities for the enhancement of profitability through an intimate knowledge of business operations and understanding of profit and cost drivers. Identify process improvements across financial and operational systems to streamline process and allow the finance community more bandwidth to provide effective business partnering. Support the business by providing high quality, relevant Management information, requiring detailed understanding of the reporting environments on site, and benchmarking to best practice Person specification: Experienced Finance professional, with a strong grasp of financial management, business partnering and performance management with relevant accounting qualifications (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or similar) Proven experience in a similar Finance Manager/Finance Business Partner role within a in large multinational with regional and group functions and outsourced BPO service Highly commercial with a real drive to gain an understanding of the business Excellent verbal and written communication skills appropriate for engaging a diverse range of audiences and stakeholders Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels across the business functions and influence senior management/directors and wider stakeholders Highly numerate with strong analytical, data modelling and problem-solving capabilities enabled by advanced Excel skills Strong organisational skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast past and dynamic environment Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team and the strength of character to challenge the business and influence decision making Appetite to engage in projects or additional responsibilities as an opportunity for career progression Randstad Financial & Professional encourage applications from individuals of all ages & backgrounds.
