Overview
Avanti Recruitment are working with a company in central Reading looking for a developer to join the team. The team work mostly with C# and .Net CORE, with Web API, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and work to Agile methodologies using TDD where possible. Salary is up to £40k. Key Skills C# Net CORE Web API Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines Agile methodologies u TDD / Unit testing Responsibilities Developing the application with a combination of web based and desktop based .Net components, utilising Web/API calls to access underlying SQL Server database Ensuring that code developed follows accepted Design Patterns, and is developed in a re-usable and sustainable way, refactoring when and where appropriate, depending on changes in the underlying technology such as SQL Server or .Net Core Ensuring that all development is fully documented and carried out using defined processes relating to Change Management, Project Management and Source Control Ensuring that all new development undergoes and passes all Unit Testing, Integration Testing and Regression Testing Assisting in the production of User Stories, ensuring that Development follows accepted Agile processes, organised in sprints and ensuring that tasks are documented, tracked and completed using current Project Management tools In Liaison with the Product Owner and Senior team, analyse and recommend improvements for existing programs and new development specifications Analysing, specifying and developing interfaces from the application to third party systems such as payment gateways Creating technical specifications and test plans Researching and investigating new technologies and recommending for adoption if appropriate Keeping abreast of new software industry initiatives, for example in the area of Security and Data Protection, and making recommendations for adoption if appropriate If interested please apply now for immediate consideration
