Mental health support worker - Bournemouth Your new company In this role as a support worker you will be working with 15 adults aged between 18-65 years old who suffer from mental health conditions. You will be joining a well-established Care Group who are based in a residential home in central Bournemouth. This is an ideal opportunity to join a caring organisation and work in a challenging and supportive environment. Your new role The role of a support Worker is extremely rewarding however you will experience behaviours that are challenging. As a support worker you will need to assist in day to day delegated household tasks, Help and encourage with their social and leisure activities, assist with their independence and living skills and provide a high quality personal care. This role can offer up to 40 hours per week ongoing. What you'll need to succeed As a support worker you must have great patience and be very understanding, you will need to be motivated and passionate about helping young people. You will also need to have a genuine desire to make a real difference in people's lives. You will need to be able to drive and have your own vehicle. You must have the right to work within the UK. Experience of working with children and young people.
