Overview
A well known and established membership body are recruiting for a Policy Officer (Scotland) on a 12 month fixed term contract. The post holder will ensure that the organisation has an effective input into the work of all levels of the Government in Scotland relating to healthcare. You will analyse government policy, facilitate research and help shape organisational responses to strategically important legislation and consultations. Working closely with committees in delivering policy strategy will be a major part of this role. The ideal applicant will have key knowledge and experience of policy and parliamentary affairs in Scotland. This is a 12 month fixed term contract, working 35 hours per week, paying £39,000 pro rata plus benefits. Interviews asap (can be conducted via Video Call). Please note that this role can be based in either central London (Headquarters) or Edinburgh.
