They’re currently seeking to bring a talented Finance Manager / Business Partner into their organisation, in a highly commercial and business partnering orientated opportunity supporting a key division of their IT team. Main Purpose of Role: The Finance Manager, CapEx and Resources Business Partner role sits within the Technology Operations (Tech Ops) pillar of the Technology Finance team. The CapEx role is responsible for business partnering with the Global Head of Service Delivery and Business Operations to plan, forecast, and report on the $125m of Tech Ops capex, including investment in Growth business cases, Strategic investment projects, Productivity investment, and KTLO. Additionally, the role requires Finance oversight of roughly 1,900 roles (internal and contractors) across all of Tech Ops. The role also partners with the Head of Reliability and Engineering for Desktop and Risk, one of the client's key customer propositions. Technology brings together our product development, operations, digital and business technology, cyber security, architecture and technology program management groups. The Technology business consists of approx. 5,000 employees who are located across the globe. Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities: Process improvement around tracking, recognition and communication of the $125M Tech Ops CapEx Budget, Actuals and Forecast Business Partner the Global Head of Service Delivery and Business Operations, who is the CapEx budget owner for Tech Ops, and the Head of Reliability and Engineering for Desktop and Risk Oversee the ongoing evolution of the on-premise data centre estate, including automation and simplification initiatives Provide guidance and direction to partners in the Centre of Excellence in Bangalore to provide necessary capex reporting Deliver financial reporting, planning and forecasting to ensure clear line of the cost base including contributing the management reporting for the CIO Technical/Professional Skills & Competencies: 5 years of experience in Finance, 2 years of these in an Analytical & cost Business Partnering capacity preferably within Technology or Financial Services Demonstrable experience influencing and leading a multitude of stakeholders in the business and finance Customer-focused with a commercial mind-set Tenacious and driven by delivering results and driving change Enjoys working in teams Shows ability to work effectively across all functions of the business Excellent analytical and communication skills Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects with competing demands for resources, ability to adapt to change Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, global business environment.
