Overview
Our client is a multinational loyalty and benefits company, who is seeking a Financial Controls Auditor for a 12-month fixed term contract. This can be based in either their luxurious offices in Central London or Haywards Heath paying up to £75,000. The role requires a financial auditor to perform and lead risk based financial audits to support the embedding financial internal controls and the financial control framework across the global organisation. The role will be based in both the London (central finance) and Haywards Heath (operations) offices with potential travel to the global offices in the America’s and Asia (around 10%). The reporting line will be into the Group Head of Internal Audit. This role will be a combination of both audit and advisory work, working closely with the Finance Transformation team and other key finance stakeholders. What is expected of the Financial Controls Auditor; Perform risk-based audit assignments and financial internal control reviews Ownership of the end to end audit assignment / review process. Produce high quality audit deliverables Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand key risks, concerns and issues Work closely with the finance transformation team and advise on the roll out of finance control frameworks, key accounting policies and finance internal controls Assist is preparing our client for a control’s based statutory audit Develop a strong relationship with their process controls specialist to understand key activities and how Internal Audit can support the embedding of new controls or processes Assist in the production of Audit committee material To undertake ad hoc projects / assignments as directed by the Group Head of Internal Audit What we look for in a Financial Controls Auditor; Qualified accountant e.g. ACA/ACCA/CIMA IFRS / US GAAP experience would be an advantage Experience working is a multi-national and multi-functional organisation Strong experience of auditing financial controls in a variety of businesses at differing levels of control maturity Strong understanding of complex financial control frameworks Internal Audit experience Ability and experience working as work both as a team player and individually in order to deliver the IAP What the Financial Controls Auditor will receive; Base salary of up to £75,000 Opportunity to travel internationally (around 10% of your time there) Modern working environment, free fruit, open bar on a Friday Luxury offices InterQuest Group is acting as an employment agency for this vacancy.
