Overview
Business Analyst - Edinburgh Pertemps Scotland Ltd are working with our client in Edinburgh to recruit for a Business Analyst on a temporary basis for 3 months with potential of extension. Working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm and is within IR35 To succeed in this role, the selected candidate should have an analytical mind and be able to explain difficult concepts to nontechnical users. Essential Skills / Requirements: Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills Ability to evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, develop and implement solutions Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions Excellent documentation skills to capture the results of your efforts Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook A track record of following through on commitments A history of leading and supporting successful projects Ability to effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management via reports and presentations Must obtain a Disclosure Scotland Competencies: Data Governance Time management Self-starter Effective and professional communication skills, written and verbal Ability to prioritise tasks Desirable Requirements Knowledge of the planning system Working in the public sector This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89919475
