Overview
Our client a health service provider based in London is looking for a contractor for 6-9 months. Skills & Experience required: Java to write our backend microservices React Native, Redux and GraphQL for our mobile applications Kotlin and Swift for our native mobile components Kafka for our asynchronous message queue AWS for our infrastructure Docker to run our services on Kubernetes Terraform for our infrastructure provisioning and deployment You'll have an advantage if you have experience of: Experience with Ruby and/or Python Have built beautiful visualisations with smooth animations for mobile or web Familiarity with Microservices and distributed systems If you are familiar with Extreme Programming and Continuous Delivery concepts and best practices like: Pair Programming, Continuous Integration, Infrastructure as code and Test-Driven Development (TDD) Continuously delivering a product using principles of lean product design and hypothesis-driven development Leading and facilitating workshops with business and technical teams to foster alignment Cloud computing, data science or information security Mobile-first design principles and building cross-platform Android and iOS applications Product - Growth & Scale Experience launching and scaling multiple successful global digital businesses with complex business models for B2B and B2E products Technical hands-on experience in product management and/or design Deep understanding of second wave development methodologies (Lean Software Development & Kanban and NOT: SAFe and LeSS) Has owned, built and deployed successful SaaS technology. Exposure to AI and latest developments in ML. Be the custodian of the product vision. Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment, while building extensible and scalable solutions Creative problem solver. Able to identify real obstacles and viable solutions Outcome-oriented. Not reactionary, articulates the desired outcome and works collaboratively to create a path to achieve it Leadership & Culture fit Excellent leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams Built collaborative, empathetic and low-hierarchy organisations
